Just a reminder that midnight tomorrow (July 5th) is the deadline for everyone who bought paper weekend, or paper Sunday, tickets for Mutiny 2018 to contact the official rep or outlet they were purchased from. This is to make sure your details are added to our database – as we don’t want anyone to miss out.
There’s no need to do anything if you bought your tickets online as we already have your details.
Following this, you will be contacted this month with details of the next steps.

Today we have begun the process of collecting information from those who purchased either paper weekend or paper Sunday tickets. If you purchased either of these paper tickets via an official rep or outlet, please make contact with them so they can add your details to our database. If you purchased online, there is nothing more you need to do as we already have your details.
We are also awaiting input from authorities involved and are working tirelessly with them, our insurers and ticketing partners to resolve the logistics. This process will remain open for 28 days to ensure nobody is left out and will close at midnight on Thursday the 5th of July. We will be in touch with all customers after that period to let them know the next steps.

Whilst we continue to come to terms with the tragic events of the weekend, we’ve been working with our event insurers and ticketing agents in connection with the cancellation.
Please rest assured that all of our ticketing partners are extremely reputable, national and international ticketing companies who are keen to help with the refund process.
If you purchased online, we have your details so, at this stage, there is nothing more you need to do.
We will shortly be beginning the process of collating and processing information for those who bought paper tickets through reps and outlets.
Either way we will be in touch with next steps as soon as we can. It’s important to us that no stone is left unturned.
We’d like to say thank you to all of our amazing festival family for your support and also for your patience and understanding at this extremely difficult time.
We would like to apologise for the cancellation of today’s festival. But in the light of yesterday’s tragic circumstances our decision was supported by the police, that we needed to safeguard our Festival Family and respect the young people who sadly lost their lives.
We are of course aware that many people are asking about refunds – we are actively working with our insurers and will update on this position as soon as we’re able.
We would like to thank people for their patience and understanding under these very difficult circumstances.
It is with tremendous sadness that we can confirm that two of our festival family died in hospital overnight.
An 18 year old woman and a 20 year old man were taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital where they sadly died.
We understand that the police are not linking the two deaths at this stage.
We do know that the police are supporting the next of kin and we are continuing to work closely with both the police and the other relevant authorities.
We took the decision, supported by the police, to cancel today's festival to safeguard the welfare of all our visitors and out of respect for the two young people who lost their lives.
This is deeply upsetting and we again wish to send all our thoughts to the families.
Following the terrible news from earlier today, the team behind Mutiny Festival are incredibly sad to announce that the Sunday of the festival has been cancelled as a safety precaution.
The safety of our amazing customers has always been paramount to us and so to keep everyone safe and in respect to those who have passed, we have taken the decision not to open today. As you can imagine, this decision was not taken lightly and was taken with the support of the local statutory authorities who we continue to work with.
Enquiries are being made into the circumstances of what has happened, but we must reiterate our advice to all our customers to responsibly dispose of any substances.
